Today is World Digital Preservation Day. The aim of World Digital Preservation Day is to create greater awareness of digital preservation. This day is celebrated on the first Thursday of every November. This year’s theme is ‘At-Risk Digital Materials’.
Today, Tilburg University emphasizes the importance for the long-term preservation of research data and calls on researchers to deposit their data in the data archive DataverseNL at the end of their research. The Research Data Office (RDO) organizes on December 12 a lunch meeting on preserving and sharing data.
