Training & lunch meetings on research data management

In the academic year 2019/2020 a new series of Lunch Meetings on research data management will take place. Also an introductory training for PhD candidates will be organized on November 12, 2019 and on May 14, 2020.

Target group: PhD students and (senior) researchers of Tilburg University.

Training ‘Introduction to Research Data Management’

By the Research Data Office and data representative Pam Dupont. Time: 2 to 4 pm (tentative). Location: lecture room L 104.

Lunch Meetings

By the Research Data Office and various guest speakers. Time: 12 to 1 pm. Location: lecture room L 104.

- October 7, 2019 – Data security

- December 12, 2019 – Preserving and sharing data

- January 21, 2020 – Data management planning

- February 13, 2020 – Data storage during research

- March 10, 2020 – Privacy and research data (GDPR)

- April 16, 2020 – tentative

- June 16, 2020 – tentative

- Target group: PhD candidates & (senior) researchers of Tilburg University

- Attendance is free of charge, however registration is required

Research Data Office (RDO)

The Research Data Office (RDO) is the virtual one-stop shop for researchers and Schools for all questions about research data management. The RDO offers support and advice on managing, storing and preserving research data, research data management plans, and processing personal data in research data.
